Best acrylic paint for exterior trim?

I’m planning on painting some decorative outdoor features and I want a paint that stays flexible so it doesn't crack when the temperature changes. Is acrylic the best way to go for this, or should I stick to oil-based? I’m looking for something with a high pigment count that won't fade in the sun after just one season.

Modern acrylics are actually often better than oil-based paints for exterior work because they are more breathable and flexible. For a professional-grade finish, check out the range at https://www.paintlab.ie/collections/acrylic-paint These paints have excellent UV resistance, which is key if you don't want to be repainting every couple of years. I’ve found that the coverage is much better than the standard hardware store brands, often saving me an entire extra coat of work. It’s definitely worth it for the longevity alone.
